I'm sure a lot of you have seen this--it was featured on a radio show recently and has been circulating though email but I had to post it. It's a Good Housekeeping article from 1955 (clearly written by a man)

Why is that funny? I strive to live by these tips, because I know MY place. ;-)

That CAN NOT be real!!!! Life has changed for the better for women and worse for the men! I've always been against feminists, but after reading that I'm thankful for them! What would my life be like if they never came along??!!

Tracy, the relationship between men and women is not a joke. Please stop being disrespectful. When you find a Real Man, you'll understand. (Oh, and for Christmas, do you think you could make me another apron? Only this time a little sexier? I think it would help me fulfill my role more effectively.)

When I read this to Scott he said and I quote, "Take me back to the 1950's!" I swiftly smacked him on the shoulder and put him back in HIS PLACE! :) No, we both had a good laugh though. Thank goodness things have changed because I would be failing miserably. Scott is so amazing and patient with me, I am thankful you and your sister worked him in for me!!!

Oh my, that's a pretty awesome find! I have a bunch of old Cosmos from the 60's and there are some pretty spiffy adds in those as well.

It was so great to see you at the wedding this past weekend! Let me know if you are ever down in SD again, I would love to meet up!

xoxo
